The actress became famous on television when she was nine months old when she starred as Michelle Tanner in Full House in which she starred alongside Mary Kate Olsen. Both of them appeared in movies in the 1990s. Both twins ran their own clothing lines. She appeared in two episodes on Showtime's Weeds which starred Mary Louise Parker. Her most well-known roles include her role as Judy Kramer in Point Pleasant a 2005 series that aired on Fox and also as Marcy Bender on Dawson's Creek. The three-year run playing Marina Cooper, in Guiding Light's soap opera, earned nominations for Soap Opera Digest Awards 2003 for the category Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar also played Cindy Thomas, the ABC TV show Women's Murder Club's main character from 2007 to 2008. Dollar starred on an episode of the NBC Happy Valley pilot which was not picked up.
