Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began at 14 years old. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling before she made her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd had an amazing 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent in the very first round. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen to beat her a unanimous vote, leaving the mark of a loss on Aspen's records as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in the year 2015, when she signed to Invicta FC. Invicta eleven saw Aspen dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. Aspen won the next match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to take out McGill with a TKO during the third-round (elbows & punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen defeated Hoy and defeated her in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by pounding and grounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO during the second round. She remained dominant, and won an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd finished Evinger during the first round, and was awarded her a night's performance bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks to win her first major fight. Ladd was the winner of the fight of the night bonus, after both fighters had an intense back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She was beaten by a unanimous decision.
