Stella Maeve is an American actor who is most well-known for her amazing portrayal of of Julia Wicker in the TV show The Magicians . Born in New York, Maeve belongs to the Native American. She is a Blackfoot Cherokee. The actress was in Liminality the short film released in the year 2005. Also, she made her big screen debut in 2005 on the critically acclaimed drama comedy Transamerica. The first time she appeared on television was the same year as well in a season four episode on Law & Order Criminal Intent . In 2014 she joined Dick Wolf s Chicago franchise as Nadia Decotis in Chicago P.D. . The role was played by her from 2015 onwards in which she reprised her character in Law & Order Special Victims Unit which is a TV show on Wolf the series. The year before the show, she played Julia Wicker in Syfy's fantasy show The Magicians. Stella Maeve was a television actor that had success and she continued acting in independent films. Starlet (2012) is an action film that she was a part of in and won an award at the Film Independent Spirit Awards 2013 and in the Robert Altman Award.
